To be more specific while considering formal education we need to consider the 4th house for school and college level education up to graduation and the 9th house for higher education, which is beyond graduation and leads to post graduation and research. Kalanidhi yoga:
If Jupiter is posited in the 2nd or 5th house and expected by or conjunct Mercury and Venus then this yoga is formed.
Kalanidhi yoga is also formed if Jupiter is posited in 2nd,3rd,6th or 7th signs (viz. Taurus, Gemini, Virgo or Libra) and aspected by Mercury and Venus
Budh Aditya Yoga:
If in a Birth chart Mercury and Sun are placed together this yoga is formed which gives sharp intellect and studious habits to the native. According to some astrologers this Yoga is near perfect and strong if these two planets are about 10 degrees apart.
Saraswati Yoga:
This Yoga is formed if in a birth chart Jupiter, Venus and Mercury are posited in a square, trine or the 2nd house.
Due to this yoga the native receives good education.
Shankh Yoga:
This Yoga is formed if in a chart the 5th and the 6th lords are posited in a benefice house and are at square or trine positions from each other. The presence of this yoga has been observed in many charts to give good education to the native.
