In Astrology there are many prosperity giving combinations among Signs, Houses and Planets. But for quick evaluation these major planets play a key role in predicting long term prosperity.
Prosperity means a successful, flourishing, or thriving condition, especially in financial respects; or in simple words a good fortune. In a birth chart the ascendant lord is the most auspicious planet as the ascendant is the only house that is both; a square as well as a trine house.
The next favourable planet is the 9th lord and then comes the 5th lord.

In addition to the above any Yogakarak planet is also prosperity giving for the native. In Vedic Astrology a Yogakarak planet is the one which owns a square as well as a trine house.
The houses 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th are Square houses and houses 1st, 5th and 9th are the Trine houses. In case of planets owning two houses if one of these is a malefic house then that planet is doubtful in giving prosperity so it is not counted.
