Astrology Politics – Do you want to try your luck in politics? The political Arena worldwide badly needs leaders propelled by strong and affliction-free Sun and Jupiter instead of those by afflicted Saturn, Mars and Rahu.
Political arena is no doubt the most interesting and challenging arena at present. It is no longer clean politics, may it be any country; east or west!
One may get attracted to politics because of its many lures such as power, money, name and fame etc. but irrespective of your intentions being successful for long needs support of the stars in one’s birth chart.
The planets Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and Rahu play important role in this field. Looking at the political scenario worldwide Rahu seems to have an upper hand in one’s success and survival in the political arena of present day.
The Role of Sun in Politics
A well placed and strong Sun gives authority name and fame, and attracts one to government. Sun is crucial in making one a true leader. The following conditions have been observed to give success in politics:
– Strong Sun placed in square or trine house.
– Sun in a birth chart associated with the 9th and 10th houses.
– Sun placed in its own or sign of exaltation.
– Sun falling in its own sign or Aries in the Navamsha Chart (D/9 chart)
At present the Sun in charts of most politicians is in badly afflicted state and that reminds me of a comment by Lavate, “He who reforms himself has done more towards reforming the public than a crowd or noisy, impotent patriots”
The Role of Jupiter in Politics …
A politician with a strong and clean Jupiter, a rare sight at present, reminds one of the ‘Raj Gurus’ of old times who used to properly guide those in power.
In a birth chart Jupiter placed in square or trine house in its own signs viz. Sagittarius or Pisces or in Cancer; its sign of exaltation brings one in politics. But a clean and powerful Jupiter which also makes link with the native’s 2nd and 11th houses is a rare sight and that reminds us the words of Will Rogers, “Everything is changing. People are taking their comedians seriously and the politicians as a joke.”
Role played by Mars in Politics
A good politician needs two most important qualities viz. ‘Unalloyed Courage’ and ‘Selfless Leadership’ and which planet other than affliction free Mars can give these?
So those who wish to really and sincerely serve the masses through clean politics must daily recite Hanuman Chalisa and uplift their character otherwise their afflicted Mars will make true the words of John F. Kennedy, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable”
Role played by Saturn in Politics
A well connected and strong Saturn is responsible for uplifting a downtrodden, poor person to strong and influential political positions.
Saturn placed in its own, exaltation or friendly signs in a square or trine house give political career. A trine lord Saturn placed in the 10th house can take one from rags to riches through politics.
Looking at charts of many politicians I am reminded of a Japanese proverb, “Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare”
Role played by Rahu in Politics
In present day politics Rahu is playing crucial role than planets of old time fair politics viz. Sun and Jupiter.
Just imagine how difficult is today for a fair, just, selfless person to enter and be a success in politics. You need trickery, deceit, wrong means, lies and ability to misguide as character traits in order to succeed in present day scenario and Rahu is the one which does all these and even more.
It is perhaps the same kind of Rahu in some politicians charts which prompted Gore Vidal to say, “Politics’ is made up of two words, ‘poli,’ which is Greek for ‘many,’ and ‘tics,’ which are blood-sucking insects”
