In the birth chart Moon represents Meneka Gandhi and Mars represents her mother in law. Mars and Moon are placed at mutually 2/12 places with respect to each other, which is bad and inauspicious.
In her navansh chart Mars is placed in its enemy Mercury’s sign which is bad. Strength wise, the planet Mars representing Indira Gandhi has very high Shadbala strength and it is retrograde therefore it is stronger and more influential than the Moon (Meneka Gandhi); therefore the mother in law had overpowering influence over the native.
